You don't know what a day is worth until you have a child who suffered through every single one of them since the day you brought them into this world. Abram suffered immensely for two and a half long years before he was able to have a good day. In 261 days, my son has not only gained seizure freedom, he has also gained cognitive ability, independence and a fierce toddler attitude. He can do puzzles, he can walk and run, he has a mean throw, laughs, loves and gives the best hugs. One year ago, we weren't even sure where his life was going after tremendously terrible side effects of commonly prescribed anti-epileptic drugs. We had to fight for a diagnosis and now we have to fight our government for a right to give our child the medicine his DOCTORS felt he needed. 261 Days Seizure Free and Counting.
